Barbara Anna Buda died unexpectedly but peacefully at home in Kinross during Monday night, 26th November, aged 63. Barbara was a marvellous and inspirational person to many friends, relatives, colleagues and neighbours during her very interesting and fulfilling life. She is loved by many but particularly her godson and nephew, Daniel, brother Gerard, late parents, Catherine and Aloysius and brother Edmund.
Mass was said for Barbara at St James Catholic Church, on Monday 10th Dec.
It is hoped to have a memorial service in Edinburgh in the near future.
More information to follow.
The Core Group are very sad to announce that Barbara Buda, the Coordinator of the Epiphany Group, died unexpectedly in her sleep on November 27th.
There are no further details at this time about funeral arrangements, but when these become known, they will be communicated here.
Barbara was much valued by the whole Epiphany Group for her many years of Ignatian ministry.
She had been a long-standing member of the Group, had served on the Core Group from 2009, and had been the Coordinator from 2012.
She will undoubtedly be greatly missed by all, in the Epiphany Group and beyond.
Our prayers are with her family, friends and colleagues.
The Core Group wish it to be known that they are, at present, in a holding pattern while they process this sudden event and discern the way forward, in order to continue the work in which Barbara played such a vital part.

Visit Pathways to God
Barbara Buda has invited members of the W-SW Members’ Group to a meeting at 11am on Tuesday, 28 March at ISC, Glasgow. The main focus of this gathering is to share what has emerged – and still is emerging – from the October Gathering in 2016. It would be great to see as many members of our group as possible!
